House rules

01

How the board moves

Rank is the bid. The board is ordered by the amount paid for each seat, and by nothing else — not votes, not reviews, not a score we compute.

The minimum is $5. Amounts move in $1 steps. Whole dollars only.

A new campaign enters with a URL and a first boost. A URL already on the board pays only the difference between its current seat price and the new amount.

Nothing expires. A seat holds until someone pays more for it.

Two seats at the same amount are ordered by age. The older seat stays ahead.

#1 is the highest amount on the board. It is not a mark of quality, popularity, or trust.

02

What you can list

Any public https address works. Brand sites, content, commerce and event pages, and public social accounts or channels — Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, Telegram channels. Individuals and businesses alike may list.

Category and city help people read the board. They are not certification marks.

03

What you cannot list

Prohibited industries are rejected regardless of payment: casinos and chance-gaming venues, adult or sexual content, illegal drugs, weapons and ammunition, counterfeit goods, medical or health-supplement advertising, hacking or malware, extremist or violent content, unlicensed finance such as deposit-taking and investment signal rooms, multi-level marketing, impersonation of a brand or official channel, follower and view farming, and alcohol, tobacco or e-cigarette advertising.

Alcohol and tobacco are restricted as advertising. A page whose subject is the drink or the smoke cannot be listed; a restaurant, cafe, or hotel whose menu happens to include alcohol is advertising itself and can.

Private conversation invites are not listable: open-chat rooms, WhatsApp and Discord invites, and Telegram invite links (+, joinchat) that hide the real destination. Public channel addresses are fine.

04

Automated review

Every submission is screened before publication by an automated pipeline: deterministic keyword and domain rules plus an optional AI reviewer. A link that fails is rejected with the reason. A submission rejected after payment is never published and is refunded in full automatically.

Approval by automated review is not a warranty of legality. Advertisers remain responsible for their creative and landing pages, and we may remove a campaign later if it violates these rules.

05

Payment and the difference

Amounts are shown in US dollars, in whole-dollar steps. Climbing a seat charges the gap between the current seat price and the new total.

Payments are processed by Polar. Card details are entered on Polar’s hosted checkout — onwi never sees or stores them.

06

Receipts and tax documents

Payments are processed by Polar as the merchant of record. Polar issues the invoice and the receipt; ONWI does not issue a separate one.

Because of that, a Korean 세금계산서 or a Japanese qualified-invoice (インボイス) registration number is not issued. You can enter a business name and a tax ID at checkout and both appear on the Polar invoice.

Whether that document works for your own bookkeeping or input-tax credit depends on your situation. Please confirm the tax treatment with your own tax adviser.

07

Payments, withdrawal and refunds

A payment is final once the seat is placed. There are two exceptions, and both are refunded in full without being asked for.

A submission rejected in review is never published, and the payment is returned. A payment that clears after the seat price has already moved buys no rank, and the payment is returned. Refunds are issued through Polar and take a few days to appear.

Cancel before placement starts and the payment is returned in full. After placement starts, withdrawal is limited as allowed by Korean e-commerce law (전자상거래법 §17(2)). If we fail to run the placement, the payment is returned in full.

08

How clicks are counted

A click on a listing is counted once per visitor per minute. Repeat taps inside that minute are not counted twice.

Known bots, crawlers, and link previewers are excluded. The click figure on a row is what we measured, never what we promise.

09

The sponsor rail

A sponsor seat on the rail runs for 30 days from payment. It expires on its own and nothing renews automatically.

The rail holds a fixed number of seats. A sponsor seat is an advertising slot on the same terms as a board seat.

10

Age 19+

People under 19 need a legal guardian’s consent before buying a visibility seat.

11

Link policy

Outbound links on a listing page are direct links, without nofollow. Board rows link to that campaign's listing page, not straight out.

No traffic, ranking, or search result is promised. What is sold is an ad seat on the board, and nothing more.

12

The live desk

Watchers, seat totals, and heat are live reference totals from the public board. A short delay is possible.
